BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 24. France's aggressive policy in international organizations must be condemned, at least at the level of rhetoric, MP Tural Ganjaliyev said at plenary session of Azerbaijan's Milli Majlis (Parliament), TurkicWorld reports.
"France does not deserve to be a permanent member of the UN. France does not contribute to international peace and security, but on the contrary, poses a threat," he said.
He also said action must be taken towards France's recent policy regarding South Caucasus.
The MP said Azerbaijan is already doing it, reminding that the country hosted an international conference - "Neocolonialism: violation of human rights and injustice" recently.
"A meeting was also held with the participants of the conference in Parliament, where they were expressed support. France, by changing the name of its new colonial policy, keeps these territories under its occupation. We must respond to the voice of these peoples against this oppression," the MP said.
