Among the residents of Karabakh of Armenian origin, there are those who have applied to obtain Azerbaijani citizenship, Spokesman for the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Lieutenant Colonel Elshad Hajiyev, said, TurkicWorld reports.
“Any resident of Armenian origin living in this territory can apply for the Azerbaijani citizenship. Their cases are prioritized”, he said.
