Azerbaijan is never indifferent to Armenian population's fate in Karabakh - Trend's News Agency Deputy Director

BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 22. Azerbaijan was never indifferent to the fate of the Armenian population in Karabakh, Rufiz Hafizoglu, deputy director general of Trend News Agency, said in an interview with the Arabic-language program of France 24 TV channel, TurkicWorld reports.

He noted that for this purpose, Azerbaijan's Ministry of Emergency Situations has sent foodstuffs to meet the needs of Armenian residents of Azerbaijan's Karabakh region.

During the interview, Hafizoglu reacted harshly to the host's phrase "Nagorno-Karabakh", saying that there is no such territory as "Nagorno-Karabakh"—there is only Karabakh.

"Azerbaijan has always not only said but also proved that it is ready for peace. Our goal is to ensure peace and stability in the region," Hafizoglu added.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) of the Republic of Azerbaijan decided to send food cargo to meet the needs of Armenian residents of Azerbaijan's Karabakh region. On September 22, two 20-ton trucks with various food and hygiene products, as well as two trucks with bread, were sent from Aghdam district.
