AzerGold is going to present new commemorative coin within the “Year of Urban Planning and Architecture”

BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 8. AzerGold CJSC has launched the production of a silver commemorative coin dedicated to the rich legacy of Ajami Nakhchivani, the founder of the Nakhchivan school of architecture.

The new product is scheduled to be presented to the public in the coming days.

Developed within the "Year of Urban Planning and Architecture," this special edition commemorates the 900th anniversary of the great architect. The coin depicts historical structures created by the master and his successors.

The product was manufactured using innovative “Smartminting” technology. This advanced technology enables ultra-high relief, finely detailed design elements, and multi-dimensional visual effects on the coin. Consequently, the product stands out with deeper artistic expression, high precision, and a unique aesthetic appearance, distinguishing it from traditional minting techniques.

The project aims to promote Azerbaijan's rich architectural heritage, convey national-cultural values to a broad audience, and honor the memory of this prominent figure. Issued in a limited edition, the new coin is intended for both collectors and a wide range of buyers interested in cultural heritage.

AzerGold CJSC has a history of producing various products aimed at promoting historical and cultural heritage. This series includes the "Pearls of Karabakh," "Shusha," "Baku," "Icherisheher," "Gobustan," and "Nakhchivan" collections. Continuing this tradition, the new coin will serve to promote Azerbaijan's cultural heritage at both local and international levels.
