BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 21. The D-8 Media Forum is currently taking place in Baku, bringing together leaders of media-related institutions and prominent media organisations from member states of the D-8 Organisation for Economic Cooperation, TurkicWorld reports via the Media Development Agency.
Meanwhile, the forum also features high-ranking officials and renowned experts in the field, all convening under the theme 'Fostering Dialogue, Collaboration, and Regional Cohesion'
The forum, organised by the agency, will discuss improving regional and international information exchange, strengthening cooperation in the media sector, establishing joint mechanisms to combat disinformation, promoting joint projects in the field of digital media, and sharing best practices.
The forum will feature two panel sessions: "Responsible journalism and digital innovations" and "Strategic communication and crisis management," and the workshop "Media ethics in the digital world: technologies, trends and narratives."
The forum is being attended by approximately 150 participants, including 71 international delegates from eight countries, as well as representatives from the organisation’s secretariat.
