BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 3. Baku Archifest 2025, one of the region’s most prestigious events in architecture, urban planning, and innovative design, will be held for the second time this year in Azerbaijan, TurkicWorld reports.
The festival is organized by the architecture firms Design Bureau and Asli Partners, with the academic partnership of the Faculty of Design and Architecture at ADA University.
The event is considered one of the first strategic stages of Azerbaijan’s Urban Planning Awareness Campaign, ahead of the 13th World Urban Forum (WUF13), scheduled to take place in Baku in 2026.
This year, the festival will focus on the theme "Navigating Urbanity".
Renowned architects, urban planning specialists, professors, and young designers from Azerbaijan, Italy, Türkiye, Georgia, Iran, and other countries will gather for the event.
Archifest aims not only to serve as a platform for professional exchange in architecture but also to create a multidisciplinary discussion environment that unites diverse architectural schools, approaches, and cultural perspectives.
Scheduled for November 5–7, the festival is expected to host over 3,000 participants.
Meanwhile, its program includes panel discussions, thematic lectures, masterclasses, practical workshops, and presentation sessions by students and young architects.
This year, Archifest will take place at the new campus of the Italy-Azerbaijan University’s Faculty of Design and Architecture, established under ADA University.
The campus symbolizes a new stage in architectural education, urban planning thinking, and international academic collaboration.
During the festival, invited experts from around the world will speak on topics such as the future of architecture, human-centered urban environments, sustainability, cultural heritage, and new urbanist trends.
