BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 26.On September 24, 2025, at the Headquarters of the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation a meeting was held between the President of the Organization, Mrs. Aktoty Raimkulova, and the Minister of Culture and Innovation of Hungary, Mr. Balázs Hankó. The Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Hungary to the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mr. Tamás Torma, together with the Hungarian delegation, also took part in the meeting, TurkicWorld reports.
President of the Foundation Mrs. Raimkulova welcomed the guests, highly appreciating the contribution of the friend country to cultural cooperation and particularly acknowledging the support of the Hungarian Embassy in Baku and Ambassador Mr. Tamás Torma in fostering cultural diplomacy with the Turkic world.
The Minister, as guest of the Foundation, was acquainted with the organization’s activities. Mr. Balázs Hankó praised the initiatives of the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation and underlined the importance of discussing potential future joint projects.
Special attention was given to the participation of Hungarian experts in the preparation of the Foundation’s “Multi-volume and Multilingual Catalogue of the Cultural Heritage of Turkic Peoples,” along with other initiatives.
For the guests, a tour of the museum located at the Foundation’s headquarters was organized, showcasing exhibits that reflect the rich heritage, centuries-old history, and traditions of the Turkic world.
The meeting continued in a sincere and constructive atmosphere.
