A solemn event on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the national flag of the Kyrgyz Republic was held in the Central Ala-Too Square in Bishkek.
President of Kyrgyzstan, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the country Sadyr Zhaparov greeted the ceremonial crews, after which the guards carried the state flag to the flagpole.
During the performance of the anthem of the Kyrgyz Republic, the national flag was raised.
Further, the head of state delivered a congratulatory speech on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the adoption of one of the state symbols of the Kyrgyz Republic.
In honor of the significant event, a solemn march of the troops of the Bishkek garrison of the Armed Forces of the Kyrgyz Republic was held on Ala-Too Square.
The event was attended by Kyrgyz officials, Parliament members, representatives of the diplomatic corps, statesmen and public figures, authors of the state symbols of Kyrgyzstan, cultural figures, youth and others.
