BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 14. Mikhail Kavelashvili has been elected the sixth President of Georgia, TurkicWorld reports.
According to the country's Central Election Commission, he received 224 electoral votes out of 300, with the minimum required 200.
Kavelashvili's inauguration is scheduled for December 29.
