Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Japan Erkinbek Osoyev met with Mayor of Numata Minoru Hoshino and representatives of the CHIMORI business association.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported that they discussed prospects for cooperation in ecology, reforestation, ecotourism and sustainable development.
The ambassador presented Kyrgyzstan's green projects and proposed cooperation, including the signing of a Memorandum between Numata and Jalal-Abad, exchange of experience in wood processing and construction of small hydro power plants.
The parties agreed to hold visits for further discussions and exchange of experience.
