First Lady of Kyrgyzstan Aigul Zhaparova visited the International Foundation for Turkic Culture and Heritage in Baku, where she was welcomed by President of the Foundation for Turkic Culture and Heritage Aktoty Raimkulova.
During the visit, they discussed prospects of cooperation and initiatives in preservation and popularization of Turkic cultural heritage.
A small concert presenting the cultural diversity of Turkic peoples was organized for the First Lady.
The Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation, one of the key institutions of Turkic cooperation (together with TURKSOY, TURKPA, the Organization of Turkic States and the Turkic Academy), is actively working to protect, restore and promote the cultural values of the Turkic world. Among the priority tasks of the Foundation is to create a unified list of the cultural heritage of the Turkic peoples in order to preserve their unique traditions for future generations.
The visit of the First Lady took place within the framework of the participation of Kyrgyz president Sadyr Zhaparov in the 29th Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29).
