Over the past four years, the number of registered crimes has decreased by almost 50 percent, President Sadyr Zhaparov said at a solemn event to mark the 100th anniversary of the police on Ala-Too Square in Bishkek.
He noted that more than four thousand video cameras have been installed in public places across the country, with the help of which round-the-clock monitoring is conducted, which allows maintaining public order for all.
“As a result of significant efforts over the past four years, the number of registered crimes has decreased by almost 50 percent, and gross violations of order and law in public places have been minimized,” the Kyrgyz leader added.
