BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 30. Azerbaijan is persistently advancing its comprehensive social support initiative for the families of martyrs and participants in the war during the post-war era, the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population said in a statement, TurkicWorld reports.
The Ministry has allocated 119,000 monthly social payments to 106,000 individuals, which includes members of martyr families and war veterans. A one-time payment has been designated for 24,100 individuals.
The housing assistance program for martyr families and individuals with war-related disabilities has expanded fivefold, providing 6,200 apartments and private homes, along with 528 vehicles for those with disabilities.
Furthermore, approximately 11,000 individuals from these families have received 67,500 socio-psychological and rehabilitation services. For the 2,219 individuals who acquired disabilities due to the war, 60,500 rehabilitation devices have been distributed, including 598 advanced high-tech prostheses for 489 individuals.
The employment initiative has successfully placed 23,700 family members of martyrs and war participants into jobs, with 11,800 individuals engaging in a self-employment program.
