On October 23-24, 2024, the Consulate General of the Kyrgyz Republic in Antalya organized a visit of a delegation of Turkish entrepreneurs and investors from Antalya Province and other Mediterranean regions to the Kyrgyz Republic, aimed at expanding economic ties and developing cooperation in key sectors of the economy.
The working visit was an important step towards strengthening mutually beneficial cooperation with the regions of Turkey, opening up new prospects for the implementation of investment projects, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.
As part of the visit, a number of official meetings were held with the leadership of the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture and Processing Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic.
During the meetings, members of the Turkish delegation showed high interest in entrepreneurial activity and investment in Kyrgyzstan in such priority sectors as tourism, agriculture, energy and light industry.
In this context, special attention during the negotiations was paid to the conditions for doing business in Kyrgyzstan, including benefits and preferences for foreign investment.
The Kyrgyz side emphasized its readiness to create favorable conditions for investors and expressed confidence that the results of the visit would be the beginning of new successful joint projects.
