12 new slaughterhouses have been built in Kyrgyzstan, the press service of the Ministry of Water Resources and Agriculture of the republic said.
To date, 101 slaughterhouses are registered in the register of the veterinary service, of which 10 belong to large standard enterprises, 64 - to small slaughterhouses, 27 - to medium-sized slaughterhouses. However, 15 of them temporarily suspended their work due to violations of veterinary and sanitary requirements.
10 slaughterhouses are registered in the Unified Register of the Eurasian Economic Union, which allows them to operate according to the EAEU standards and export products to the countries of the Union.
