Director of the National Investment Agency under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Talantbek Imanov met with President of the Italian Trade Agency (ITA) Matteo Zoppas.
During the meeting, Imanov spoke about the ongoing reforms in the field of investment policy and priority projects in the areas of trade, investment, technology, and tourism, in which the state provides comprehensive support to investors and entrepreneurs.
“The Kyrgyz Republic is actively working on improving the business climate and creating favorable conditions for investment. The reforms are aimed at liberalizing the economy, improving infrastructure and increasing the welfare of our citizens,” he said.
The sides expressed readiness to further expand mutually beneficial cooperation and attract new investments.
Talantbek Imanov and Matteo Zoppas also discussed ways to build further mutually beneficial cooperation between the National Agency and the Italian Trade Agency in terms of attracting investments from Italy to Kyrgyzstan, as well as export of goods from Kyrgyzstan to Italy.
