Within the framework of the official visit of Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov to the Italian Republic, the official opening of the Kyrgyzstan Park in Rome took place.
The ceremony was attended by members of the Kyrgyz delegation, Deputy Mayor of Rome Pierluigi Sanna, President of the Municipality Francesca Del Bello, as well as members of the Kyrgyz diaspora living in Italy, the press service of the Kyrgyz president reported.
The opening of the park symbolizes the friendly relations between Kyrgyzstan and Italy, as well as promotes cultural exchange and popularization of Kyrgyz culture in Italy.
As part of the opening ceremony, the parties signed a Memorandum of Cooperation between the cities of Bishkek and Rome.
