BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 2. Israel names UN Secretary-General António Guterres persona non grata, said the country's FM Israel Katz, TurkicWorld reports.
"Today, I have declared UN Secretary-General António Guterres persona non grata in Israel and banned him from entering the country. Anyone who cannot unequivocally condemn Iran's heinous attack on Israel, as almost every country in the world has done, does not deserve to step foot on Israeli soil," he wrote on his page on X.
The FM added that Israel will continue to defend its citizens "with or without António Guterres".
Meanwhile, yesterday, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced it had launched dozens of ballistic missiles at Israel.
