BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 27. The men's volleyball team of Azerbaijan kicked off its participation in the Eastern European Zonal Volleyball Association (EEVZA) beach volleyball championship with a strong performance, TurkicWorld reports via İdman.biz.
The Azerbaijani team competing in Tbilisi, Georgia, faced the Armenian team.
The duo of Heydar Mammadli and Nariman Bayramli won both sets decisively, with scores of 2:0 (21:15, 21:13).
Looking ahead, the Azerbaijani team will next compete against Ukraine.
