BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 27. The Azerbaijan Republic Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA) has released information on demining operations carried out from August 19 through 25 in the territories liberated from occupation by the structures involved in demining, TurkicWorld reports via ANAMA.
Furthermore, it was noted that 78 anti-personnel, 32 anti-tank mines, and 839 unexploded ordnance were found and neutralized during demining operations conducted last week in Tartar, Agdara, Kalbajar, Aghdam, Khojaly, Khankendi, Khojavand, Lachin, Shusha, Fuzuli, Gubadli, Jabrayil, and Zangilan.
Over the past week, 1,308.3 ha of land was cleared of mines and unexploded ordnance.
