BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 13. Azerbaijani judoka Zelim Kotsoyev won the photo competition depicting the trick at the Paris 2024 Summer Olympic Games, TurkicWorld reports via Idman.biz.
It competition was organized by the European Judo Union, Idman.biz reports.
The trick used by the Azerbaijani judoka in the quarter final match with Israeli Peter Palchik won the 1st place in the voting. This photo was taken by International Judo Federation (IJF) photographer Gabriela Sabeu. Azerbaijani Olympic champion won this match with ippon.
Zelim defeated Ilia Sulamanidze (Georgia) in the final.
