BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 7. The Azerbaijani rhythmic gymnastics team climbed to the podium three times at the international tournament held in Zaragoza, Spain, TurkicWorld reports with reference to the Azerbaijan Gymnastics Federation.
The team consisting of Gullu Agalarzadeh, Kamilla Aliyeva, Elizaveta Luzan, Daria Sorokina, Lyaman Alimuradova and Zeinab Gummatova took first place, receiving 72 thousand points from the judges.
The athletes won a silver medal in the five-ring individual program with a score of 38,050 points. The team also won medals in exercises with three ribbons and two balls. The Azerbaijani team won a silver medal. Their performances were rated at 32,800 points.
Thus, the rhythmic gymnastics team completed the international tournament held in Zaragoza with three medals.
