The “Grace of Nature” International Tournament in Rhythmic Gymnastics in Azerbaijan's Nakhchivan Olympic Sports Complex has ended, reports TurkicWorld with the reference to Trend.
The international tournament was dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of national leader Heydar Aliyev.
About 250 athletes took part in the competition. The winners were proudly photographed with medals in their hands.The tournament gave all the participants a lot of unforgettable impressions.
The “Grace of Nature” International Tournament in Rhythmic Gymnastics in Nakhchivan has become a great opportunity for many talented athletes to prove themselves. In addition, among the important aspects of the competition is communication, exchange of experience and, of course, even greater development and promotion of gymnastics in the regions of Azerbaijan.
Gymnasts in the age categories "junior" (born in 2016–2017), "kids" (born in 2013–2015), "pre-junior" (born in 2011–2012), and "junior" (born in 2008–2010), representing teams from Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan, were participating in the first international rhythmic gymnastics competition organized in Nakhchivan.
In general, gymnasts from 20 clubs in the capital and regions of Azerbaijan (Nakhchivan, Ganja, Agdash, Mingachevir, Oghuz, Gakh, Shamkir, and Zagatala) participated in the competition.
According to the results of the competition, winners and medalists were determined in the all-around and in individual subjects among gymnasts performing in the individual program, as well as in individual subjects among teams in group exercises.
