BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 11. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev stated that each time former displaced residents return to the lands of their ancestors, it is a celebration for all, a joy for the entire Azerbaijani people. The remarks were made during a meeting with residents who relocated to the villages of Guzeykhirman and Guneykhirman in the Khojavend district.
“Nowadays, there is not a single month in which former displaced residents do not return to their ancestral lands in groups,” the President said, emphasizing the symbolic and national significance of these returns.
The meeting also addressed the reconstruction and development of liberated territories and support for returning residents.
