Bishkek, April 27, 2023. /Kabar/. Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic - Head of the Presidential Administration of the Kyrgyz Republic Akylbek Zhaparov met with Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov as part of his working trip to Tashkent city of Uzbekistan, the press service of the Cabinet said.
During the meeting, the sides discussed a wide range of issues of bilateral cooperation in all areas of mutual interest.
The sides paid special attention to the practical implementation of the agreements reached during the recent visit of the head of the Cabinet of Ministers Akylbek Zhaparov to Uzbekistan.
“The results of my recent official visit have become very productive in the field of economic cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan. All the documents that were signed by us following the results are of a priority nature, determining the further vector of promoting our economic cooperation,” Akylbek Zhaparov said.
The sides also discussed organizational issues of upcoming events at the level of heads of government, in particular, holding the next meeting of the Council of Plenipotentiaries of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic in the border regions and khokims of the border regions of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the 10th meeting of the Kyrgyz-Uzbek intergovernmental commission on bilateral cooperation.
