President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov received today the heads of judicial bodies of a number of foreign countries.
Thus, the head of state welcomed Chairman of the Supreme Cassation Court of Turkiye Omer Kerkeze, Chairman of the Supreme Court of Azerbaijan Inam Karimov, and Acting Chairwoman of the Supreme Court of Moldova Stela Procopciuc, Chairman of the Court of the Eurasian Economic Union - Alexei Dronov, Chairman of the CIS Economic Court - Andrei Plotnikov, Deputy Chairman of the Supreme People's Court of China Deng Xiuming, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Court of Belarus - Valery Kalinkovich, Chairwoman of the Criminal Division of the Supreme Court of Kazakhstan - Nazgul Rakhmetullina, Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Court of Tajikistan - Saidali Sabzali, Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Court of Uzbekistan - Shukhrat Polvanov, Chairman of the Anti-Corruption Chamber of the Cassation Court of the Republic of Armenia - Artur Davtyan and Vice-President of the European Commission for Democracy through Law (Venice Commission) - Veronica Bilkova.
Welcoming the heads of the judiciary, the president emphasized that the 100th anniversary of the judicial system of the Kyrgyz Republic is an important milestone in the development of the state. In this regard, he expressed gratitude for the participation of high-ranking guests in this historic event. Sadyr Zhaparov emphasized the important role of the judicial system in the development of any state, noting that the judicial system of Kyrgyzstan, including judges and employees, makes a significant contribution to the formation of a state governed by the rule of law and conscientiously protects the rights and freedoms of citizens.
The head of state added that Kyrgyzstan fully supports multilateral integration processes with other countries. In this regard, he noted the efforts made in the area of exchanging legal, cultural, humanitarian and scientific experience to strengthen friendly relations and mutually beneficial cooperation with fraternal countries and strategic partners.
In conclusion, President Sadyr Zhaparov expressed confidence in the great potential for cooperation with the countries that were represented at the meeting and emphasized the need to continue working in this direction.
