Kazakhstan, Germany set to finalize $6.3B in business deals - deputy FM

ASTANA, Kazakhstan, September 16. During the Kazakhstan-Germany Business Forum, it is anticipated that 36 agreements totaling over $6.3 billion will be signed, said Kazakhstan’s Deputy Foreign Minister Alibek Kuantyrov, TurkicWorld reports.

"These deals will span several sectors, including machinery, innovation, logistics, petrochemicals, healthcare, IT, and industrial automation," Kuantyrov said. "Many prominent German brands have been well-established in Kazakhstan for some time, are widely recognized, and are highly esteemed by consumers."

He also noted that Kazakhstan has achieved significant progress in collaboration with German partners in recent years, as reflected in the number of successful joint ventures and foreign enterprises operating in the country.

The first panel session of the Kazakhstan-Germany Business Forum, moderated by Michael Harms, Executive Director of the Eastern Committee of the German Economy, has already taken place.

Speakers included: Nurlan Kapenov (Qazaq Green), Dr. Christian Bruch (Siemens Energy Global GmbH & Co. KG), Nico Varbanov (DB E.C.O. Group), Tobias Bartz (Rhenus SE & Co. KG), Ulugbek Orazov (АО "KTZ Express"), and Yerzhan Nauryzbaev (KPMC Ltd).

The discussions focused on new opportunities for joint projects in renewable energy, green technologies, transportation, and logistics.
