Central Asian heads' consultative meetings foster regional co-op - president of Kyrgyzstan

BISHKEK, Kyrgyzstan, August 9. The format of the Consultative Meetings of Central Asian Leaders significantly boosts regional cooperation, as President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov stated at the 6th Consultative Meeting of Central Asian Heads of State in Astana, TurkicWorld reports via the Kyrgyz president's press office.

"The format of these meetings is highly valued and provides essential momentum for enhancing regional cooperation. The previous five meetings have demonstrated the leaders' strong commitment to deepening connections across various areas, including trade, economy, investment, transportation, logistics, regional security, environment, climate change, and cultural and humanitarian efforts," he said.

The president noted that the rapprochement among the countries has become stable and consistent.

Additionally, Zhaparov highlighted Kyrgyzstan's steady economic development, marked by significant infrastructure and international projects, such as hydroelectric power plants, highways, and airport modernization, with the support of foreign investors.
