BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 25. Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan are locomotives of regional integration, Kazakh Ambassador to Azerbaijan Alim Bayel said at the Azerbaijan-Kazakhstan Agricultural Forum, TurkicWorld reports.
"Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan are strategic partners. The countries cooperate in all spheres, including transport, logistics, investment, and defense. Recently, Kazakhstan held exercises where the largest military contingent after the host country was from Azerbaijan. Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan are implementing major projects that are important not only for us but also for the region. Our countries are locomotives of regional integration," the ambassador emphasized.
According to him, Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan plan to start exporting Kazakhstan's "green" energy through the territory of Azerbaijan.
"It is symbolic that this fall Baku is hosting the COP29 climate conference," he added.
To note, the Azerbaijani-Kazakhstani agricultural forum is being held at the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Baku on 25 July.
