ASTANA, Kazakhstan, July 19. The Kazakh Gas Processing Plant (KazGPP) will process 838 million cubic meters of raw gas by the end of 2024, TurkicWorld reports, citing KazMunayGas (KMG, Kazakhstan's national oil and gas company).
At the same time, until the end of the year, the plant is expected to produce 698 million cubic meters of commercial gas, 192,000 tons of liquefied petroleum gas, 56,000 tons of pentane-hexane fraction, 1,300 tons of heating oil.
In addition, from January through June 2024, KazGPP processed about 407.8 million cubic meters of raw gas.
The plant produced 339.1 million cubic meters of commercial gas, 97,600 tons of liquefied petroleum gas, 26,500 tons of pentane-hexane fraction, 800 tons of heating oil.
As KMG noted, by many indicators, the plant exceeds production volumes.
In 2023, overall gas production in Kazakhstan totaled 59.063 billion cubic meters, with contributions from Tengiz (16.009 billion cubic meters), Karachaganak (22.385 billion cubic meters), Kashagan (11.856 billion cubic meters), and other fields (8.813 billion cubic meters).
Kazakhstan plans to produce 60.456 billion cubic meters of raw natural gas in 2024.
