ASTANA, Kazakhstan, July 12. Kazakhstan and the UAE have discussed prospects for cooperation in the energy sector, TurkicWorld reports.
According to the press-service of the Kazakh president, discussion on this topic took place during the meeting between President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and UAE Ambassador to the country Mohammed Saeed Mohammed Al Ariqi.
Tokayev expressed gratitude for the active participation of a representative delegation from the United Arab Emirates in the summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in Astana.
The president noted that Kazakhstan places special importance on developing multifaceted cooperation with the UAE.
The sides discussed the implementation of agreements reached at the highest level in the trade, economic, and investment spheres. The need to continue working within the framework of the Joint Declaration on Strategic Investment Projects between Kazakhstan and the UAE was emphasized.
Additionally, the meeting considered prospects for cooperation in the energy, transportation, logistics, information technology, and artificial intelligence sectors.
