BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 3. Azerbaijan’s Minister of Culture Adil Karimli met with bp’s Regional President for Azerbaijan, Georgia and Türkiye, Gio Cristofoli, on September 2 to discuss cultural cooperation between Azerbaijan and the company.
Welcoming the guest, Karimli said culture has become one of the areas of successful cooperation between Azerbaijan and bp.
The minister praised bp’s support for organising museums and exhibitions, promoting creative initiatives and publishing works related to the legacy of prominent cultural figures.
Cristofoli said bp intends to continue supporting various cultural projects in Azerbaijan.
During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on further expanding cooperation. They also discussed potential collaboration in the production of historical films.
Karimli invited Cristofoli to visit the Creative Center of Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Culture and to attend the 7th World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue, scheduled to take place in Baku on October 27–29 this year.
Bakhtiyar Aslanbayli, bp’s Vice President for Communications and External Affairs in the Caspian, Central Asia and Türkiye region, also attended the meeting.
