BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 18. Inflation in Azerbaijan is expected to reach 5.1 percent by the end of 2024, the Chairman of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, Taleh Kazimov, said at today's meeting of the Azerbaijani Parliament's Committee for Economic Policy, Industries and Enterprising at a discussion of the draft law "On the State Budget of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2025," TurkicWorld reports.
Kazimov explained that the Central Bank has eased its monetary policy in an effort to reduce inflationary pressures.
He also emphasized that the bank's financial stability strategy is focused on ensuring the stable operation of financial markets.
