Bishkek, Jan. 27, 2022. / Kabar /. Deputy Minister of Economy and Commerce of Kyrgyzstan Kanat Abdrakhmanov met today with an Azerbaijani delegation headed by Deputy Economy Minister Niyazi Safarov.
During the meeting, the sides noted the high potential for developing the level of trade, economic and investment cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan. They also discussed issues of increasing interaction in the field of mutual trade and investment between states through the implementation of joint projects, the press service of the Kyrgyz Economy Ministry said.
Abdrakhmanov, in his welcoming speech, expressed gratitude for the ongoing work aimed at developing trade and investment ties between the two countries, as well as for creating new business opportunities for cooperation between Kyrgyz and Azerbaijani businesses.
He noted that Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan are united by strong ties of friendship and brotherhood, due to the historical, cultural, spiritual and linguistic community of the Turkic peoples, the objective desire to expand interaction with fraternal peoples and build a common future for kindred states.
Following the meeting, the sides expressed gratitude for the opportunity to meet and hope for further and fruitful development of bilateral relations.
