BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 21. A seminar for journalists on the topic "Understanding and analyzing ESG [environmental, social, and corporate governance] reports" is taking place in Baku, TurkicWorld reports.
The seminar organizers are the COP29 Operating Company, Coca-Cola Azerbaijan, and PwC Azerbaijan.
Welcoming remarks at the seminar will be delivered by a member of the Coordination Council of the COP29 Operating Company, Ayan Najaf, Chair of the COP29 Azerbaijan Operating Company and Chief Operating Officer for COP29, Narmin Jarchalova, and Senior Director of Public Affairs, Communications & Sustainability, Eurasia and the Middle East at Coca-Cola Company, Elshad Farzaliyev.
Topics to be discussed at the seminar include understanding shifts in business paradigms, the legal framework for ESG in Azerbaijan today, how to read and analyze ESG reports, and analyzing ESG reports in the industrial sector.
