BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 26. Azerconnect Group supported the region's first International Conference on Cyber Diplomacy held in Azerbaijan. This landmark event brought together state institutions, private companies and business representatives, as well as diplomats and experts to discuss the role of diplomacy in enhancing information security in Azerbaijan.
The conference was organized by the Special Communication and Information Security State Service of The Republic of Azerbaijan, in collaboration with the Presidential Administration of Azerbaijan, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Center of Analysis of International Relations, and ADA University, with Azerconnect Group and other private organizations playing a pivotal role in its support.
At the event, discussions focused on the crucial role of the private sector in global cyber diplomacy and the significance of international cooperation in advancing cybersecurity. Additionally, the conference also highlighted the significance of the ‘Digital Silk Way’ project aimed at connecting Europe and Asia. This strategically vital digital corridor is expected to drive economic growth and enhance communication across the region.
The International Conference on Cyber Diplomacy saw the participation of around 120 representatives from over 30 countries, including diplomats, experts, and officials.
