BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 20. A consultative meeting of the Heads of Railway Administrations on the establishment of the International Association for the "Eurasian Transport Route" has begun in Baku, TurkicWorld reports.
The speakers include the Chairman of the Board of Azerbaijan Railways CJSC Rovshan Rustamov, the Chairman of the Board of Uzbekistan Railways JSC Zufar Narzullaev, and the Chairman of the Turkish State Railways Ufuk Yalcin.
The meeting also envisions speeches by the head of the Chinese Railway Container Transport Corporation, Yang Bin; the First Deputy Chief of the Tajik Railways State Unitary Enterprise, Sorbon Kulakhmadov; the Deputy Director General of Kyrgyz Railways, Dostan Usubakunov; and the Head of the Eurasia and Central Asia Relations Department at Austrian Federal Railways, Eniko Gyorfi.
The meeting is discussing the draft charter of the association and the draft founding protocol.
The second part of the consultative meeting is expected to feature speeches from representatives of Azerbaijan Railways overseeing various matters.
