Turkmenistan, Malaysia explore broad spectrum of bilateral and multilateral cooperation

ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, September 9. Turkmenistan and Malaysia have explored a broad spectrum of bilateral and multilateral cooperation during inter-ministerial consultations held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, TurkicWorld reports via the MFA of Turkmenistan.

The delegations were led by Deputy Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan Ahmet Gurbanov and Deputy Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia, Dato' Ahmad Rozian bin Abd Ghani.

The discussions focused on strengthening political, economic, and humanitarian ties between the two nations. Both sides expressed commitment to advancing their collaboration by expanding the legal framework and enhancing high-level diplomatic contacts.

Key topics included the organization of business forums, thematic exhibitions, and business missions. The meeting also highlighted the potential for deeper cooperation in education, science, culture, tourism, and healthcare, reflecting a mutual interest in intensifying contacts between the public and private sectors.

The consultations underscored the importance of regular diplomatic interactions and expressed a shared goal of fortifying the bilateral relationship across various sectors.
