BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 30. Construction companies need to take steps to prevent air pollution, Azerbaijan's Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources, COP29 President Mukhtar Babayev said, TurkicWorld reports.
He made the remark during the Azerbaijan Sustainable Built Environment Leadership Roundtable in Baku today.
"Construction activities lead to air pollution, negatively affecting human health. How can we reduce this? What innovations can we introduce? We need to think about them.
We need to get results without signing any statements, and by doing so, we must get out of the supervision system. Each company must take responsibility and take steps,” he emphasized.
