New industrially important gas is flowing into Turkmenistan from the well of the country's biggest gas field, Galkynysh, which was drilled not long ago, TurkicWorld reports.
The official source states that state-of-the-art technological developments are currently utilized throughout the entire gas production cycle, from finding new deposits to exploring and commissioning them, transporting and storing hydrocarbons, and finally supplying them to consumers.
At the same time, among the key tasks in this area, the country sets the formation of innovative production for the processing of hydrocarbon raw materials, increasing the export potential of the fuel and energy sectors through diversification.
This also includes the industrial development of new fields, the creation of an extensive network of pipelines for the transportation of energy resources, and scaling up the use of digital technologies in geological exploration, including methods.
Meanwhile, the Turkmengaz State Concern estimates the nation's hydrocarbon resources at over 71 billion tons of oil equivalent. This volume includes more than 20 billion tons of oil and more than 50 trillion cubic meters of natural gas.
