BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 2. Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv will be closed from 08:00 local time on September 2 amid a general strike in Israel, Channel 12 of Israeli TV said, TurkicWorld reports.
According to the information, the airport will be closed for takeoffs and landings.
Earlier, the head of the Israeli Histadrut trade union confederation, Arnon Bar-David, announced a one-day general strike on September 2, demanding that the country's authorities immediately release the hostages held in the Gaza Strip.
