Azerbaijani, Russian FMs discuss outcomes of ‘3+3’ meeting

BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 24. Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov has had a phone talk with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov, TurkicWorld reports.

During the conversation, the ministers discussed the agenda of bilateral and multilateral cooperation between Azerbaijan and Russia, the prospects for the Azerbaijani-Armenian peace process, the current situation in the region, the results of the ministerial meeting within the framework of the regional ‘3+3’ platform in Tehran, and also exchanged views on the agenda of the meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Caspian countries, which is scheduled to be held in Moscow in December this year.

The parties recognized tangible opportunities for fostering enduring peace between Azerbaijan and Armenia, and emphasized the significance of this historic chance that has emerged in the region.
