Bishkek, Jan. 19, 2023 / Kabar/. On January 18, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Jeenbek Kulubaev had a telephone conversation with Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation of the Kingdom of Spain Jose Manuel Albarez.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, during the conversation, the parties discussed the current agenda of bilateral relations. In order to strengthen cooperation in specific areas, the parties noted the importance of expanding the legal framework and cooperation within international organizations.

Separately, issues of cooperation between the Kyrgyz Republic and the European Union were discussed in the context of the upcoming Spanish presidency of the EU in the second half of 2023. The parties noted the high level of cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and the European Union, as well as the readiness to maintain a constant political dialogue.
