BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 30. The court hearing scheduled for December 30 in the criminal case against Armenian citizen Ruben Vardanyan has been postponed for an indefinite period. Vardanyan is charged under articles of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan related to crimes against peace and humanity, war crimes, terrorism, financing of terrorism, and other serious offenses, TurkicWorld reports.
The postponement was due to the judicial panel chaired by Judge Zeynal Aghayev, with judges Anar Rzayev and Jamal Ramazanov, and reserve judge Gunel Samedova, entering deliberations in another criminal case involving 15 Armenian citizens.
As a result, the next hearing in Vardanyan’s case will be held after the panel concludes its deliberations.

To note, the preliminary investigation of the criminal case against Ruben Vardanyan, accused under articles concerning crimes against peace and humanity, war crimes, terrorism, financing of terrorism, and other offenses, was conducted by the State Security Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
