BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 8. The General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, To Lam, visited Martyrs' Alley in Baku on May 8, as part of his state visit to Azerbaijan, TurkicWorld reports.
To Lam paid his respects to the memory of the heroic sons of Azerbaijan who gave their lives for the country's independence and territorial integrity. He laid a wreath at the "Eternal Flame" monument.
Afterward, the guests were briefed on the history of the Alley of Martyrs and the ongoing works on the restoration and development of the city, as well as a panoramic view of Baku from the highest point of the capital.
