BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 12. Azerbaijani Emil Gurbanaliyev, an international boxing referee, topped the rating of the best referees at the Summer Olympics in Paris, TurkicWorld reports via Idman.biz.
He hit the jackpot in the referee ranking and was given a pat on the back for his performance at the mother of all tournaments.
Gurbanaliyev called the shots in the boxing ring throughout the Olympics, including the grand finale.
To note, the 2024 Summer Olympics went down in Paris from July 24 through August 11, 2024.
