Secretary for Climate Change Ana Toni and Australia's Minister for Climate Change and Energy Chris Bowen in Wuhan, China, TurkicWorld reports.
“Azerbaijan's COP29 chairmanship is in close partnership with Brazil, which will host COP30 in 2025. The ‘Troika’ of COP Chairs (including the UAE - COP28) provides continuity and coherence between the communities and provides momentum at this critical time (of climate change) for the world,” COP29 Chairmanship's post on X reads.
Furthermore, the COP29 team met with Australia's Minister for Climate Change and Energy Chris Bowen in Wuhan on the sidelines of the Ministerial Conference on Climate Action (MoCA) to discuss topical issues on the global agenda.
To note, COP29 will be held on November 11-22 in Baku.
