KazTransOil boosts oil transportation to Germany in 1Q2024

BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 26. Kazakhstan's KazTransOil (the national operator of the main oil pipeline) transported 300,000 tons of Kazakh oil through the trunk oil pipeline system of Transneft PJSC towards the Adamova Zastava oil delivery point for further delivery to Germany in the first quarter of 2024, the company told TurkicWorld.

According to the company, this volume exceeds the same period in 2023 by 260,000 tons.

At the same time, the company plans to transport 120,000 tons of Kazakh oil to Germany. In addition, KazTransOil also plans to transport 993,000 tons of Kazakh oil to Germany in total in 2024.

This transit is being conducted in accordance with the terms of the relevant agreement signed on June 7, 2002, between the governments of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Kazakhstan.

KazTransOil is part of the KazMunayGas group (Kazakhstan's national oil and gas company). The company owns a diversified network of main oil pipelines, each 5,400 km in length.
