Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Tourism and Cultural Heritage Aziz Abdukhakimov and Deputy Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation Nadejda Prepodobnaya met at the Ministry of Tourism and Cultural Heritage.

It was noted that the conference of museum representatives of Uzbekistan and Russia held in Tashkent on November 18-19 is of great importance in further developing cooperation between the museums of Uzbekistan and Russia. The parties discussed the program of the Russian Season project, which is planned to be held in Uzbekistan in 2023. At the same time, specific measures have been identified to accelerate the work on copying the cultural values of Uzbekistan in Russia, collecting information about them.

Following the meeting, it was decided to hold a visit of Russian master restorers to Uzbekistan to further develop cooperation in museums, restoration of cultural heritage objects, as well as the exchange of experience.
