A delegation led by Deputy Minister of Justice of Türkiye Hasan Yılmaz arrived in Uzbekistan to exchange experience in training, retraining and advanced training of prosecutors.

Members of the delegation met with the Prosecutor General of Uzbekistan Nigmatilla Yuldashev.

The parties exchanged experience in organizing the activities of the prosecutor’s office, legal reforms, training and retraining personnel in prosecutorial and investigative activities.

The parties discussed cooperation between the two institutions, agreed to draw up a program of practical actions. A memorandum was signed between the Academy of the Prosecutor General’s Office and the Justice Academy of Türkiye, which will become the basis for raising bilateral cooperation to a qualitatively new level in terms of increasing human resources.

The delegation got acquainted with the activities of the Academy, the organization of the educational process, created information systems, infrastructure, visited the History Museum of the Prosecutor’s Office of Uzbekistan.
